Mankato police are searching for a suspect this hour in an early morning home burglary...At around 4:30 a-m, the Mankato Department of Public Safety responded to a call at 103 Thayer Avenue.A male, who was sleeping, heard an odd noise and found a man standing in the living room.The suspect pointed a handgun at the victim and demanded his property. The victim complied, then fled to a neighbor's house to call police.Others were in the house, but they were asleep and did not wake up. No one was injured in the incident.The suspect is described as a black male, about 6 feet tall with a slender build.
