Rosemary Shultz joined KEYC in June 2006 as a general assignment reporter.
She hails originally from Edina, MN and is excited to be reporting the news in her home state.
Rosemary graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College - just down the road - with a degree in Honors Communication Studies.
During her college years, Rosemary completed internships at WCCO-TV in Minneapolis, and right here at KEYC.
In her free time, Rosemary enjoys reading and traveling. She also counts politics among her passions and enjoys following all things political, from the local politicians here in our area to the presidential campaigns.

| Dion Cheney, News 12 at 6 and 10 Co-Anchor | |

A native of Oakland, California, Dion Cheney graduated from the California State University at Hayward in 1994 with a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Political Science. Dion worked behind the scenes at KEYC for a year before landing an on-air position.
Outside work, he enjoys classical and jazz music, used book sales, Star Trek, and defeating his co-workers at Jeopardy.

Nicole co-anchors the 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. newscasts on KEYC-TV, first joining the KEYC family in March of 2006.
Nicole has held positions of reporter, anchor, and fill-in weather personality. In June of 2007 Nicole helped launch KEYC’s sister station Fox Mankato. After anchoring the Fox Mankato News at Nine for a year and a half, Nicole was asked to rejoin KEYC-CBS in another change of pace for the station, bringing back a two anchor format for the primetime shows.
While she says she’ll never get used to the cold, Nicole is a true Minnesotan at heart. She was born and raised on the Eastside of St. Paul. In May of 2005, Nicole graduated from St. Cloud State University with a degree in Mass Communications, Television Broadcasting.
When Nicole's not working she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, snowboarding, traveling, Tae Kwon Do, watching the Twins and Vikings, reading and relaxing.

Betsy joins KEYC after spending the last four years in Phoenix, Arizona.
A native of Crystal, Betsy earned her B.A in Mass Communication from Augsburg College in 2002. During her time there she was a member of the women's basketball team and was active in the campus community. She then continued her education at Arizona State University's Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication, graduating with her M.A. in 2007.
While in Arizona, Betsy completed her internship at KTVK CH3 working on “Good Morning Arizona” and was a reporter for the award winning Cronkite NewsWatch at ASU.
Although she misses hiking in the mountains of Arizona, Betsy is happy to be back in her home state where she can spend time at the lake and relax with her family and friends.

Born right here in Mankato and a native of Lake Crystal, MN, Erin joins the KEYC news staff after spending her first year out of college working in the station’s production department.
Erin graduated in 2007 from Bethany Lutheran College after working for two years with the MSU-Mankato men’s and women’s hockey broadcasts and interning at the Education Communications Board (a PBS affiliate) in Madison, WI.
In her spare time she loves reading, writing and especially taking time to spend with her family and friends.

Max Jensen was born and raised in Sioux Falls, SD. He graduated from South Dakota State University in the spring of 2007 with a broadcast journalism major and a minor in communications. Before coming to KEYC, Max worked weekends at KELO-TV in Sioux Falls and interned at WFLA-TV in Tampa, FL.
Max says he's excited to be at KEYC and hopes to become very active in the Mankato community. When not working you will more than likely find Max at the golf course. Max loves all sports and follows the Vikings, Twins, and Timberwolves. Max also enjoys being around family and friends.

Ryan Gustafson didn't travel far to get his start in television news.
Growing up only a half-hour away in tiny Warsaw, Minnesota, Ryan joins KEYC as a general assignment reporter. Ryan graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Mass Communication and a minor in Political Science. While at the U, Ryan served as a production volunteer for Twin Cities Public Television's weekly public affairs show, Almanac, as well as an intern for Almanac at the Capitol.
When off the clock, Ryan loves listening to his massive collection of CDs, hiking through the beautiful Minnesotan wilderness and catching up with friends, new and old. And he looks forward to serving southern Minnesota and making his hometown proud.

Carly Aplin comes from Saint Cloud, Minnesota. She is glad to be back in Southern Minnesota.
Carly graduated cum laude from Gustavus Adolphus College in 2007 where she was an active member of the college community. Throughout her four years, Carly was President of the Inter-Greek Senate, a member Lambda Pi Eta Communications honors society, and held various positions on the student senate.
Carly also interned at KEYC in the fall of 2006 and at Fox Sports Net North in the summer of 2007. She has also helped cover the local news of her hometown, Saint Cloud, working with Saint Cloud State University's news station, UTVS. If anyone has any story ideas or comments please contact her!

| Nathan Harrington, Reporter / Weekend Meteorologist | |

Nathan was born and raised in Plant City, Florida near the Lightning Capital of the U.S., Tampa. He attended Florida State University and earned his degree in Meteorology. He was also and active member of FSU Weather, the only student-produced half-hour weather show in the entire country.
Nathan is a sports fanatic, mainly following all Florida State sports teams. He loves all sports, especially baseball and football, and is an avid golfer. Having a great time with friends is also a favorite pastime of his and he hopes to meet many new people to spend time with. Mark Tarello is Chief Meteorologist for KEYC-TV News 12 & The FOX Mankato News At Nine.
He was forecasting weather on cable television while in high school in his hometown of Stoneham, Massachusetts. From there, he placed second out of 500 students in the National Collegiate Weather Forecasting contest while attending Lyndon State College in Vermont.
Most recently, Tarello appeared on The Weather Channel's Evening Edition, a national television network while covering a winter storm across Minnesota and Iowa. Tarello has worked as an on-air meteorologist just south of Atlanta at WRBL-TV, the CBS affiliate in Columbus, GA. Here he forecasted the weather during weekend evenings for two time zones serving both Alabama and Georgia. Mark was also chief meteorologist at WMDN-TV, the CBS affiliate in Meridian, MS. While working in Mississippi he worked around the clock providing viewers with the latest breaking weather during hurricane Katrina. He was also an on-air meteorologist for KMEG-TV in Sioux City, IA; WMTW-TV in Portland, ME; WVNY-TV in Burlington, VT; and New England Cable News in Boston, MA. Mark was also a meteorologist for WLVI-TV in Boston, MA, where he updated the forecast for the station web site and radio stations daily.

| Mitch Keegan, Meteorologist | |

Mitch Keegan rejoined the Skywatch 12 Weather Team in October 2007 as the morning and midday meteorologist. Mitch previously worked at KEYC as weekend weather anchor and news reporter from August 2005 to November 2006.
Before returning to KEYC, Mitch worked at KAAL-TV in Austin/Rochester, MN as the morning and weekend meteorologist. Mitch has also worked at KGAN-TV in Cedar Rapids, IA and at KCCI-TV in Des Moines, IA.
Mitch is a member of the National Weather Association. He is also a certified storm chaser. Mitch helped KEYC cover the August 24, 2006 tornado as it moved across Nicollet and Le Sueur counties.
Mitch grew up in eastern Iowa and has been interested in weather since he was a child. It’s that love of weather gave him the drive to pursue a career in broadcast meteorology. Mitch studied weather and the environment at Iowa State University, and graduated in May 2004.
Mitch enjoys spending time with his wife Kya and their daughter Brynnley, along with his other family and friends across Iowa and Minnesota.

Perry has been reporting sports at KEYC-TV since September of 1980.
When not doing reporting, he likes to golf, shoot a little pool, golf, read, golf, get together with friends and golf. He hopes everybody you know is healthy and happy!

| Eric Gullickson, Weekend Sports Anchor/Reporter | |

Making his return to Minnesota, Eric Gullickson grew up in Hopkins. He attended The University of Maine and graduated with a B.A. in Journalism in 2005.
He was a news intern at KMSP/WFTC in Minneapolis and a sports intern at Fox Sports Net New England in Boston. After college Eric spent the next year and a half working as a Production Assistant and then a Photojournalist at WVII / WFVX in Bangor, Maine, before joining the staff at KEYC.
Eric is excited to be back in the state of hockey and looks forward to getting out on the pond to shoot some puck.
