Danielle Nack already had a great high school swimming season setting two state records, now the Mankato West Sophomore has a shot to make the Olympics.
Nack took first place in the 100 butterfly at an 18-and-under invitational in Austin Texas on Sunday with a time of 1 minute-zero point-76 seconds.
That time was good enough to make the Olympic Trial Cut, meaning Nack will be heading to Omaha in June to compete in the event for a spot on the U.S. Team.
Nack was happy about her performance and is excited about the opportunity ahead.
Prior to qualifying for the Olympic Trials, Nack competed at Junior Nationals last week and took 7th in the 50 freestyle, 9th in the 100 butterfly, and 16th in the 100 freestyle.
