University of Minnesota Considers Tuition Freeze

Posted: Updated:
Minneapolis, MN -

University of Minnesota regents are considering a freeze on undergraduate tuition. The Board of Regents is meeting today to take up President Eric Kaler's proposed $1 billion biennial budget. Kaler is asking for $91 million more during the biennium, an increase of about 8 percent. Part of that, $14 million for each of the two years, would be linked to a tuition freeze for in-state undergraduates.
