They started work on the one thousand foot addition a couple months ago. Today work was being done on the cement roof.
Boardmember Richard Chambers says instead holding a big fundraiser and collecting money, ECHO asked the community to donate supplies and/or their time on this project. Chambers says, "It's just been a tremendous support from the community and an outpouring of people's support for ECHO that has made this possible and it's coming along very nicely."
He also says that this is a major milestone for the organization and that they hope to have the project finished before the first big snowfall.
