Gas Prices Probably Won't Go Lower For Thanksgiving

Motorists driving for the holiday may be giving thanks for the recent downtrend in gasoline prices, but history will be broken as the national average will be the highest its *ever been on Thanksgiving. According to GasBuddy.com the estimated national average on Thanksgiving will sit at $3.43 per gallon some 10 cents higher than it was in 2011. In Minnesota, gasoline prices currently stand at an average of $3.27...6 cents higher than a year ago. In a gasbuddy survey of 15,000 travelers nationwide, gas prices not really a factor..as 53% of those surveyed said they plan to drive the same distance as last holiday season.
