It's been an emotional day at Saint Clair High School.
The day after Hannah Gamble's fatal car crash has been a tough one for the closely-knit school community.
On Thursday Gamble's best friend tells News 12 she is still in disbelief over what happened.
"I just really miss her," said Abigail Malecha, a student at Saint Clair High School and best friends with Hannah Gamble.
For Malecha, it's hard to put into words the thought of losing her best friend, 17-year-old Gamble. Gamble was killed yesterday when her car went off the road and down an embankment on Blue Earth County Road 28.
"Just writing on her facebook wall makes me feel so much better, because I feel like I can talk to her," said Malecha.
There are approximately 50 students in Hannah's grade and officials say the mood at Saint Clair High School is one of disbelief.
"No one knows the pain that I feel know," said Malecha.
Malecha says the reality of having to say good-bye to Gamble is still very surreal, and says the crash goes beyond losing a best friend.
"It was something about me and Hannah, like everybody knew that we were always together...we were more like sisters," Malecha said.
