Blue Earth County Engineer, Alan Forsberg, received a prestigious award this morning.
Forsberg received the County Engineer of the Year Award from the Minnesota County Engineers Association at the Blue Earth Board of Commissioners meeting.
The award was presented by MCEA President Rich Sanders and former president John McDonald.
"I am very honored to be recognized by the group. I have a great deal of respect and affection for the county engineers of Minnesota, so it does mean a great deal to me," Forsberg said.
The governing body selects the best engineer out of all 87 Minnesota counties for the award.
