Family Raising Money to Find Their Missing Sister

Posted: Updated:

The search continues for a Colorado woman, formerly of St. Peter.
52-year-old Leann Meyer, who goes by the name Annie was last heard from on February 10th.
Annie Meyer, a 1979 graduate of St. Peter High School, comes from a family of nine siblings.

Having not heard from her for four weeks, those siblings and other family members are taking turns traveling to the Denver suburb of Wheat Ridge in the hopes of finding Meyer, and drawing attention to her disappearance.

As part of that effort, the family is setting up donation buckets at St. Peter bars and restaurants to help cover those travel expenses, and keep their sister at the forefront of her hometown.

Police have few leads in the case, and while not specifying Meyer's roommate, Melissa Miller, as a suspect, the police said Miller was not cooperating with their investigation.

The missing person report was first called in by Meyer's coworkers on February 27th.

Both of her vehicles were missing at first, but have since been located, impounded, and are currently being investigated for forensic evidence.

So for searches of her home have not indicated that a crime has taken place.
Wheat Ridge Police are asking any one with information to call their tip line. That number is 303-235-2947.
