MANKATO, MN -

The Mankato Department of Public Safety is asking for your help in solving a burglary. Authorities say more than $15,000 worth of Star Wars, G-I Joe, and other figurines were taken from a storage locker on South Victory Drive. Officials say the burglary happened sometime between March first and March 22nd. Those items belong to Wally Boyer, who is the owner of Jake's Pizza. A number of the stolen toys were in their original packaging-making them more valuable. Right now, no suspects are in custody. "They had cut the hinge to open the door, and we've seen that on a couple of storage units-they're actually physically, they're breaking the hinges off." If you have any information about the burglary, you're asked to contact the Mankato Department of Public Safety. That number is 507-387-8780.
