A Waseca man charged after a police officer found the man using drugs in front of his 4-year-old daughter makes a plea deal and is sentenced in court.
Matthew Marik entered a guilty plea to a possession charge of a controlled substance in the third degree.
Felony methamphetamine crimes involving children and misdemeanor child endangerment charges were dropped as a part of the deal with prosecutors.
Marik was sentenced to 36 months.
He will spend two years in prison and then one year on supervised release.
He's currently in custody and will be taken to St. Cloud Monday.
