The flu season has been winding down for the last few weeks, but people are still being hospitalized with the virus.
According to the Minnesota Department of Health, 13 people have been diagnosed with influenza this past week statewide,
Two have died from flu–related complications.
That compares with about 600 hospitalizations per week at the peak of the outbreak in January.
Health experts say his flu strain has been especially harsh.
There have been 188 influenza–related deaths in Minnesota since the start of the season.
