MANKATO, Minn. -

A Mankato man is facing multiple felony counts after being accused of downloading nude images of underage girls.

According to the criminal complaint Tyler James Hausen was living at 227 Lincoln Street in Mankato. That address belongs to the fraternity Phi Kappa Psi.

Back in February, the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension said Hausen had been sharing child pornography via a peer-to-peer file-sharing program. After a subpoena, authorities determined the source of the files came from the Phi Kappa Psi location.

On April 30th a search warrant was executed. On Hausen's computer, authorities allegedly discovered nude photos of underage girls.

The complaint goes on to say Hausen also made files available for download by others over the internet.

The 23-year-old suspect is now facing four felonies in connection with the alleged crimes.
According to court records, a future hearing date has not yet been set.
