Three suspects are all facing felonies after law enforcement unfolded a drug operation in Mankato. It all began in February when authorities with the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and the South Central Drug Investigative Unit arranged for controlled buys of methamphetamine. Officials say Francisco Orozco-Padilla was the leader of the drug trafficking operation. Two other suspects were working for him. They include: Ricardo Camberos-Valle and Juan Jose Lopez. According to the criminal complaint, Orozco-Padilla told undercover authorities he could provide 'pounds of methamphetamine.' After multiple controlled buys of drugs, Lopez, and Camberos-Valle were taken into custody at the River Hills Mall in Mankato. Orozco-Padilla was arrested in South Dakota, according to officials with the Blue Earth County jail. A warrant has been issued for his arrest in Blue Earth County. All three suspects are facing one felony drug charge in connection with this case.
