Area seniors were invited to attend the Senior Expo Tuesday at the Verizon Wireless Center.
The arena was host to a number of vendors that specialize in senior products. Patrons could learn about a variety of services in the area that help them with health and mobility.
Seniors could also sit in on seminars ranging from health to how to drive through a roundabout. In addition, seniors could have health tests performed like blood pressure readings and even take a hearing test.
All these services were a big help.
Senior Expo Marketing Intern Katie Andrus says, "This is our ninth year, we have over 100 booths, we're expecting 1,500 people, so it's a pretty big event and it's really exciting for us."
Buses helped to transport the seniors to and from the arena.
