The Mankato Symphony Orchestra wrapped up its final Music on the Hill performances for the season. Today's event titled "Lonely Planet" featured some modern music as well as some traditional pieces. This is the group's third season, and it's most popular. Executive Director Sara Buechman says, "Word is spreading like I said some people keep coming back time after time they're bringing their friends their families their relatives and it just seems like people have really found a deep love for classical and chamber music in Mankato."
After the performance, audience members had the chance to chat with the musicians in an effort to get to know the people behind the instruments.
