The simple 'yes' vote yesterday by the Boy Scouts of America to allow gay boys into the program leaves plenty of questions remaining for the troops and councils on the ground level.
Many troops are actually sponsored by churches, and some conservative groups have said the decision will lead to a mass departure from the Scouts.
Paul Wilkinson with the Twin Valley Council says, "I really don't know what it will do for or against Scouts. I guess time will tell that. Sexuality is not in our program. We don't ask about it, we don't talk about it, we don't teach it."
Wilkinson added that the Scouts had a brush with the culture wars about 30 years ago, when women were first allowed as troop leaders, noting that now it is common place.
