Celebrating National Donut Day with Foie Gras

Posted: Updated:

California-based Psycho Donuts sure knows how to cause a stir, and it's all in the name of marketing.
Ron Levi is considered one of the best donut chefs around.

To celebrate National Donut Day, he's giving away 150 "foie bombs" which are donuts filled with foie gras mousse.

It comes with crispy sage, honey, fig, and a balsamic vinegar reduction delivered in a pipette.
Levi knew the creation would get people talking and ultimately build business since this is not the first time psycho donuts has come under scrutiny.

Restaurants are not allowed to sell foie gras anymore, But many just give it away for free which isn't against the law.
