ArtSplash held it's first ever wiener dog race today. More than 15 canines competed in the race over he course of multiple heats. Organizers say one of the things that makes this race so entertaining is the fact that the average wiener dog's attention span is about as long as their legs. Organizer Tanya Whitcomb says, "A lot of the dog's wont finish they'll run to the side because they want attention or they'll sit at the finish line. Or they'll play with each other in the center and it's just incredibly entertaining and it's family friendly."

Big congratulations to Gus Flynn who won the race with his challenger just a tail behind him at the finish line.
