A North Mankato family focuses on making happy memories instead of dwelling on their struggles and they got a big boost Friday from the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
A camper will allow the Olsons to travel together. It's retrofitted with a ramp, wider doorways and extra lights for 5–year–old Braiden to look at.
Braiden's been through a lot: cancer, extreme weakness in his arms and legs and seizures starting when he was a year and a half that doctors thought meant the end.
All these years later, the Olsons and their six kids look forward to the time they'll share in this camper.
Braiden's mom Angel Graham-Olson says, "We will be able to just pack up his equipment and go not have to worry. It's just an absolute treasure and they have made such a difference in our family."
Their first trip: Detroit Lakes to visit family over the 4th of July holiday.
