A man wanted in Nashville, Tennessee will remain in Blueearth County jail for at least 60 more days as Tennessee authorities work toextradite him.
Mankato Police arrested 29-year-old Peterpal Tutlam back onJune 99th after a report of a suspicious person outside a local gasstation.
After running his name, they found an active warrant out ofTennessee and took him into custody.
That warrant lists charges of Especially Aggravated Robberyand Especially Aggravated Kidnapping.
Court documents say Tutnam was named as a suspect in anincident in Nashville back in March, in which a group of four men allegedlykidnapped two other men at knifepoint and forced them to withdraw money fromvarious ATM's… and at times beat and stabbed the victims and forced them to performsex acts on one another.
The men were eventually left naked alongside a remote road.
At a bail hearing Wednesday, the judge ordered Tutlam heldfor another 60 days; an extradition hearing is set for September 109th.
Authorities are awaiting a signed order from Tennessee'sgovernor to begin the extradition process.
