NICOLLET COUNTY, Minn. -

A call in regard to a naked man at Seven Mile Creek Park, near Saint Peter led to a police chase on Sunday.

At 2:11 P.M., the Nicollet County Sheriff's Office received a call of a nude male standing on a bridge in the park, and acting in a lewd manner.

The 34-year-old man subsequently got in a vehicle and headed south down U.S. Highway 169. Authorities say a short pursuit took place. While this was not a high-speed chase, authorities say the suspect refused to pull over to the side of the road.

The Minnesota State Patrol eventually deployed a spike strip, and then the man finally pulled his vehicle over. However, he still apparently refused to get out of the car when he was ordered to.

The windows were subsequently taken out by authorities and the suspect was then removed from the car.

The Nicollet County Sheriff's Office told News 12 Sunday afternoon they're not sure as to why the man didn't stop right away.
