Authorities in Kossuth County, Iowa continue to investigate but they want residents in the area to know they have apprehended a suspect in connection with a shooting that critically injured one man. Authorities say Andrew Zeitler was arrested Sunday. It was shortly after four a.m. Sunday the Kossuth County Sheriff's Office received a call of a shooting at 309 East Street in Wesley. That town is located East of Algona. Neighbors say it started as an argument and they could hear yelling. It escalated to gunfire being heard. According to authorities, the victim, who has not yet been identified, remains hospitalized. During the investigation, 25-year-old Zeitler was identified as the suspect. A short while later an Iowa State Patrol helicopter spotted him in Corwith and he was taken into custody. He faces charges of attempted murder.
