Woman who caused scare at New Ulm Walmart violates probation again

Posted: Updated:
NEW ULM, Minn. -
The woman who caused a scare at the New Ulm Wal-Mart last year is behind bars once again.

Elisheba Swett has returned to the Brown County jail on another probation violation.

According to our records here at KECY, this is Swett's third probation violation.

Upon speaking with jail staff Sunday afternoon, News 12 was told Swett's infractions consist of: failure to remain law abiding, and failure to abstain from alcohol usage.

The Walmart incident itself dates back to last year, in which authorities say Swett forced an employee from the store. She also apparently stated she had planted a bomb in the building.

As far as her most recent probation violation is concerned, authorities say Swett is scheduled to make an upcoming court appearance on Tuesday.
