Canadian companies to introduce 18 new ships to Twin Ports
Duluth will see new ships in the Twin Ports as Canadian companies are increasing their fleets by 18 new vessels. Three companies have announced the arrival of new, high tech vessels. According to the Duluth Port Authority, the new ships are due to the repeal of a tax that charged companies 25-percent of the cost for vessels built outside Canada. Port Authority officials say the new ships are good news for the Twin Ports.
