Attendance at the 2013 Minnesota State Fair slipped below last year's total, despite two record-setting days at the end.
Fair officials say total attendance this year was just over 1.7 million...over 50-thousand less than last year.
The all-time record for total fair attendance was set in 2009, when nearly 1.8 million people came through the gates.
Hot, humid weather cut into fair attendance last week, but it ended with a bang thanks to cool, dry weather the final two days.
Labor Day had over 164-thousand people, which is a record for the last day.
That follows Sunday's crowd of over 236-thousand, which was a record single-day attendance throughout the history of the fair.
