A British company came up with a way to give gardeners a fruit and a vegetable all out of the same plant.
British company Thomson and Morgan launched its mass-produced TomTato plant that produces both tomatoes and potatoes.
The TomTato is not actually the result of genetic engineering, rather each plant is individually hand-grafted.
The TomTato can yield more than 500 sweet cherry tomatoes above ground, and a healthy crop of potatoes below the soil.
The company says it is a brilliant space saver.
Tomatoes are members of the potato family and are therefore naturally compatible with potatoes.
