A Mapleton man died as the result of a motor-vehicle crash along U.S. Highway 169 in Scott County on Friday night.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Alexander Reeves was driving a 1996 Honda Accord at the time. The state patrol says Reeves' car crossed the median from the southbound lanes into the northbound lanes. Reeves subsequently collided with two other vehicles.
The collision killed 19-year-old Reeves of Mapleton. The state patrol says Reeves was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash.
The state patrol reports 43-year-old Kristin Haggar of Sioux Falls, South Dakota sustained non-life threatening injury.
59-year-old John Fielder was also listed as sustaining non-life threatening injury.
According to the state patrol, 3 other people involved in the collision were not injured.
