Who says you can't celebrate Halloween early?
A record 1,400 people sported their best costumes for the 10th–annual Saint Peter Fun Run this morning.
After dressing up, competitors ran or walked a 5K course all in the spirit of Halloween fun.
Lance Dloughy says, "Just the buzz in the atmosphere that this many costumes, you know, Southern Minnesota's largest, fastest parade of costumes. That's what we're all about."
Prizes were awarded for a variety of categories.
Maybe the award for the LEAST scary costume went to those who dressed as the Vikings.
