More than one thousand students, parents andteachers were Des Moines Monday in an effort to stop bullying.
The goal is to raise awareness and come upwith ways everyone can make a difference.
With many kids having easy access to socialmedia, the governor says the issue of bullying has become bigger and morecomplicated than ever.
Governor Branstad says, "They don't needto be a bystander they can stand up and really show empathy and support for achild that's being bullied and to think about what they do and not do things onimpulse and do something that might be cruel or hurtful on social media.
