City Makes 'Bat-Kid's' Wish Come True

A five–year–old boy with leukemia got his wish fulfilled on a big scale.         

Thousands of people turning out in San Francisco to help mild–mannered Miles Scott become "Batkid" for the day.

Miles was diagnosed with leukemia when he was just a year old.

He's now in remission and the make–a–wish foundation is helping his dream come true – by turning the city into Gotham City for a day! 

He rescued a woman from cable car tracks in Nob Hill and captured the Riddler in the act of robbing a downtown bank.

He even rescued the San Francisco giants mascot who was kidnapped by the penguin.
