Officials will be hosting a Mankato Area Refugee Consortium Event.
The function will focus on the workings of the criminal-justice system and how it relates to refugees.
Officials say the event is also designed to foster dialogue and learn more about local resources.
The consortium will be held next Wednesday at the Blue Earth County library starting at 9:30 in the morning.
Authorities say everyone is welcome to attend.
A panel of speakers will include: a district court judge, a court interpreter, the director of Blue Earth County Community Corrections, as well as a commander with the Mankato Department of Public Safety.
