The remains of one child have been recovered at the scene of a house fire in Lucan. One child is still missing.
The names and ages of the victims will be released once positive identification is made by the Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Office.
KEYC News 12 has learned the home was used as a daycare, the Wittle Wabbits Daycare.
The Minnesota Department of Public Safety says two adults and several children were able to escape the two-story home without any injuries Wednesday.
Vest Fire Fighter Neil Hansen slipped on ice and sustained an injury while helping with the blaze. He was run over by a tanker truck. He is currently at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato.
The State Fire Marshal is handling the investigation at the request of the Redwood County Sheriff's Department.
