A vehicle going northbound on 35-E went off an overpass at 694 and crashed down into a frozen holding pond below.
MNDOT tells us the driver walked away with only minor injuries.
That was just one of the many crashes around the Twin Cities this morning.
Black ice made it very slippery.
That's when exhaust freezes up on the roads.
The State Patrol says they were called to about 148 crashes and 37 vehicles off the roadway between five a.m. and ten a.m. this morning.
Sixteen people suffered injuries, but none of them were serious.
