A burst water pipe in the upper levels of Lola'srestaurant along Main Street flooded the building with several hundreds ofgallons of water over four hours.
That was about a week ago and now big plans areunderway at the restaurant.
The lower two floors flooded with four inches of water and are now slated to be renovated as damaged sections are removed and rooms are dried.
Even though the doors are closed to customers, the staff is still scheduled for their normal hours to help with the clean–up.
Megan Wetzel, a server and self–proclaimed 'Jack of all trades,' says "Financially its not the greatest, but at least we can do something. Lacy's at least providing us with some hours instead of just saying 'Sorry, I got nothing.'"
The restaurant will use this reconstruction to revamp its layout and hopes to reopen to business sometime next week.
