The University of Minnesota is recruiting students for a new master's program in medical device innovation.
The new curriculum is aimed at preparing students for managing the challenges of the medical device industry and to give them the knowledge needed for a competitive career advantage.
The medical device industry employs over 250,000 people in Minnesota. Some of the top device manufacturers have operations in Minnesota, including Medtronic, 3M, St. Jude Medical and Boston Scientific.
The program is scheduled to enroll its first class in June.
