SPOKANE, Wash., Jan. 16, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Red Lion Hotels Corporation (NYSE: RLH) announced its head of franchise development, Ron Burgett, has accepted an offer to become Executive Vice President of Franchise Development with Value Place, the nation's largest extended stay brand. His last day with Red Lion will be January 31.

"Value Place and its founder Jack DeBoer, have a tremendous reputation for developing successful extended stay lodging products. Burgett joined Red Lion in July 2012. In 2013, the company's Lodging Development team successfully increased the franchise portfolio to 30 locations, including expanding into Arizona.

We will begin the search process for Ron's replacement right away," said Evans.
