Former Minnesota State University Football Coach Todd Hoffner is a finalist for a job in North Dakota.
Hoffner is one of three finalists for the head football coach position at Minot State.
Hoffner was hired in 2008 at MSU-Mankato and helped build the program in to a winner.
His career at Minnesota State was cut short when authorities filed criminal charges against him in August of 2012 over videos that were on a university-issued cell phone.
Those charges were thrown out by a Blue Earth County judge, and Hoffner was later fired by the University in May of 2013. That matter is still before a state arbitrator.
Hoffner is scheduled to interview at Minot State University on Monday.
