An 18-year-old has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for throwing a punch in a St. Cloud alley that killed a college student.
Jesse Smithers of Sauk Rapids pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the death of 20-year-old Colton Gleason, a former M-S-U student.
Gleason's father, John, says no punishment is great enough to bring his son back.
Smithers apologized for what he called a complete accident.
Smithers was accused of jumping out of a car on September 20th, 2012, and punching Colton Gleason once in the face.
Gleason fell backward and hit his head and later died.
