Over a Dozen Accidents in Southern Minnesota Due to Snowy Roads

Drifting snow is to blame for a rollover in Brown County early this morning.

The accident happened shortly before 4 a-am.

Scott Brandel of Comfrey was driving east of Cobden on Highway 14 when his car struck a snow drift forcing him into the south ditch when his car rolled.

Brandel sustained non-life threatening injuries.

As of 10:30 this morning, the state patrol has responded to 15 vehicles off the road, with eight of those being rollovers with 4 people suffering injuries.
