The world's most wanted drug lord is in custody tonight, according to CBS News.
Mexican marines captured Joaquin Guzman in Mazatlan. Known as "El Chapo", both the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and the City of Chicago sought his capture, naming him public enemy number one. The last criminal to hold that title was Al Capone.
Guzman escaped from prison back in 2001, as he was smuggled out in laundry cart. His drug empire soon reached around the word--supplying drugs to many major cities
U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder calls the arrest of Guzman a "victory for the citizens of both Mexico and the United States."
