Even though the mercury is below average, cold temperatures couldn't stop some folks from enjoying the snow today.
Groups of outdoor enthusiasts took to Sibley Park's sledding hill for some outdoor activity.
Kim Hanson, St. Peter residents says, "It's good to get out of the house and do an outside activity every once in a while. Instead of in the winter you seem to get cooped up in the house a lot."
Lydia Turbes, St. Peter resident says, "We went down the hill and then the snow started flying and hit me right in the face and then we flipped and got a face plant and it just stuck."
Those who were out today say to avoid cabin fever, take advantage of the mounds of snow while the sun is shining.
