President Obama will be coming to Minnesota this week to announce a new competition, designed to create jobs and restore infrastructure.
The commander-in-chief will be speaking at the newly-renovated Union Depot transportation hub in Saint Paul on Wednesday.
According to the Associated Press, the White House did not provide further details of the competition. However, it's described as part of the President's "year of action."
The plan entails a series of policy initiatives the White House is undertaking without the help of Congress. Last week for example, Obama touted increased fuel-efficiency standards for trucks in Maryland.
