Due to all of this winter's snow storms and dangerous cold, many school administrators have been working on how to make up for lost time in the classroom.
St. Clair is now tacking four days on to the end of the school year.
And school will now be in session April 21st as a make–up day.
The St. Clair public school district has missed 5 days of school this year and making things even more difficult, one of those was already a pre–scheduled make up day.
Tom Bruels, St. Clair public schools superintendent says, "The staff does a good job of keeping the kids on track, but it just makes it tough to get some continuity with the program when you're constantly having late starts, early dismissals and cancelled school days."
If any additional snow days are called this year, they will be tacked on to the end of the school year as well.
