A lot of kicking and punching took place this morning at Lee's Champion Taekwondo Academy in Mankato.
Three generations of black belt's were tested by the grand master.
Two of those examined this morning were a father and son.
Colby Winker, who tested for x6th degree black belt today with his son, says, "My whole family does taekwondo, but my son's testing for a second degree black belt today and this is kind of a once in a lifetime thing. Obviously, I can't express my gratitude, my family for their support, but to be able to do it with my son on the mat is unbelievable."
Organizers say there hasn't been a test for black belts in Mankato, such as this one in more than 10 years.
The legacy testing began at 10:00 a.m. and ran for two hours.
