Some people like them, some people don't. Regardless Mankato will be adding a few more roundabouts to its roadways.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation set up shop at the River Hills Mall this afternoon.
The event was in hopes of ramping-up the educational campaign about navigating through the town's upcoming multi-lane roundabouts.
The new addition coming up on Highway 22 at both Madison Avenue and Adams Street.
Project organizers say awareness of these changes to roadways.
Glen Coudron, project manager says, "To give individuals, businesses and people from outside the Mankato area the opportunity to learn more about the project plan for this summer. The re-construction of highway 22 and the roundabouts at Madison Avenue and Adams Street."
The construction is set to be underway this May and June.
The roundabout booth revved up at 10 this morning and red lighted at 5:00 p.m.
