A historic pistol sold for a pretty penny recently in the State of Arizona.
And it was highly-valued for good reason. The six shooter is said to be the one used by Wyatt Earp himself.

To add to the value, the handgun is also reportedly the same one used by Earp during a shootout at the O.K. Corral.

However the sale was considered controversial as the authenticity of the firearm came into question. The USA Today reports the gun's serial number was filed off and grips were replaced.

But some bidders didn't seem to mind. In fact the pistol was sold for $225,000.
