KEYC - BEC Historical Society Hosts Vikings Memorabilia Night

BEC Historical Society Hosts Vikings Memorabilia Night

Posted: Updated:
It's Vikings memorabilia night at Jake's Stadium Pizza.

The Blue Earth County Historical Society is working with fans to showcase 50 years of Vikings training camp in Mankato.

Fans are bringing their collectibles and memories out to possibly have memorabilia displayed at a new exhibit by the society.

Blue Earth County Historical Society Executive Director Jessica Potter says, "I think it's important because it's a significant part of how our community has developed, and I think it's a really special relationship that the city of Mankato has with the Minnesota Vikings. It's the longest city NFL team relationship for any NFL team in the country."

If you miss tonight's event, you can bring out your collectibles to the history center.

For more information, you can visit the Blue Earth County Historical Society website at http://www.bechshistory.com/
