Human Foosball Helps Raise Money for United Way
As part of the first United Way block party, Foosball came to life.
Thirty teams played it out to be named champion in this life size version of the game.
Many of the teams were employees from area businesses.
Behind the competition, the United Way is using this creative event to raise money to support their programs and gain community involvement.
United Way President Barb Kaus says, "The money we are raising today is all going to the agencies under our umbrella, so that's 51 programs that are part of those agencies that our dollars are going to."
The United Way hopes to grow the block party next year.
