Scrubs Camp kicked off for its second annual event earlier Monday.

The event took place at MSU Mankato and serves as an exploratory camp for high schoolers 9th–12th grade who want to learn more about health careers.

Scrub Camp Coordinator Kim Mueller said, "students who explore in high school have a much better opportunity to find out what they like and what they don't like so that they can make better and more informed decisions as they move on."

The camp includes hands on lessons such as exercises that help students better understand disabilities and tours of Mankato clinic and Mayo health systems.
